🔎 Woozel Hunt 2025
Many people from the village turned out to hunt down that mince pie stealing Woozel.
Setting off from the stocks in the High Street, the Woozel was chased all over the village but unfortunately it got away for another year. Sorrows were drowned with mulled wine and mince pies. With the village Christmas tree's new home at the Memorial Hall, we had fantastic weather for the first Carols around the Christmas Tree at the Memorial Hall.
There was plenty of Christmas Carols, Wroughton Silver Band, the bell ringers and a visit from Father Christmas with sweets for the children. A glass of mulled wine kept the cold away. Check out all the photos from the evening Christmas Tree & Village lights

With splashes of sunshine we had a great afternoon of music and children's entertainment. Thanks to everyone who come along for the afternoon, great to see so many people enjoying the bands and the children on the free rides.
